We are currently working with a secondary school in Westminster, who are looking to recruit an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to support students with challenging behaviour. The secondary school requires a Behaviour Support Assistant to assist with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties through a therapeutic approach. They have a unique approach to managing behaviour and believe in nurturing and supporting students' individual needs. The headteacher is very hands-on and offers ongoing support to all staff. The school prides itself on having long-standing members of staff.

Key skills and experience:

  • Degree level qualification is required.
  • School experience preferred but not essential.
  • An understanding of social, emotional, and mental health.
  • Strong behaviour management techniques.
  • Previous support work within a school or other child-related experience.
  • Professional manner.
