Have you previously worked in a mainstream or special needs school supporting children and young adults displaying challenging behaviour?
Have you supported vulnerable children in a care or foster setting?
Or have you got previous experience of sports coaching a wide range of children in various age groups from a variety of backgrounds and abilities?If so, becoming a behaviour coach could be the ideal new role for you!
Veritas Education are currently working with a variety of different Special Needs/SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) settings in the Leeds area. We currently have multiple behaviour support and mentor positions open for the new academic year of September 2025.
The ideal candidate would be….
Someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the role
Has a good understanding of supporting children and young people from various backgrounds and needs
Has previous experience working with children or adults experiencing challenging or at-risk behaviour
Is confident managing behaviour and supporting within a school environment
Veritas Education can also provide up to date Team Teach – Positive Behaviour Management training (Level 2), so you have the appropriate training ready for your new role in which our schools see as essential for all staff!
Schools are always keen to meet new TA\’s, support staff and behaviour mentors/coaches, especially anyone who has come from either a care, support worker, coaching or university background!
