The Opportunity:
Veritas are looking for a bright and enthusiastic French Graduate to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet as a Teaching Assistant. You'll work closely with students aged 11-16, supporting them in MFL lessons. This is a fantastic first step for graduates who are serious about progressing into teacher training or are considering working within education.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging French lessons
- Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with classwork, homework, and revision
- Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Offering targeted support to students who may need extra help grasping key concepts
- Contributing to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and enrichment
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in French or a closely related subject

- Some experience with secondary-aged pupils - e.g., through tutoring, mentoring, summer schools, or previous TA work
