Vertias Education are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join a vibrant primary school community in Kensington and Chelsea for the start of the new academic year. As an After School Club Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and stimulating environment for pupils at the end of their school day. You will help to plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities - from arts and crafts to sports and games - ensuring all children are supported and included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children aged 4-11 during after school club hours
  • Support the delivery of creative, play-based activities
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all pupils
  • Assist with setting up and tidying away resources and materials
  • Provide a high standard of care and support in line with school policies

Desirable Traits:

  • Experience working with children (in schools, childcare, or similar)
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and a good communicator
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • A relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
