We\’re seeking an enthusiastic and aspirational Accounting and Finance Teacher to join our dynamic team. Perfect for someone who understands and taught AAT Level 2 Accounting, this role offers professional development while playing a vital part in delivering engaging lessons to our mixed-ability student cohort.
Responibilities of Accounting and Finance Teacher
- Plan & deliver engaging lessons including accounting and finance.
- Support student development by fostering their soft skills (CREATE: Communication, Relating, Enterprise, Application, Thinking, Emotional intelligence)
- Monitor progress , maintain records, and provide feedback to help students meet their academic and vocational goals.
- Contribute to the professional culture , participating in staff meetings, collaborative planning, and regular training.
- Ensure a safe and respectful environment , modelling high standards of behaviour, appearance, and punctuality
- Engage with parents/carers and workplace partners , as part of the college\’s collaborative ethos and strong parent-school relationships
Accounting and Finance Teacher – Requirements
- Qualifications in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience tutoring, coaching and teaching lessons in Accounting and finance.
- Experience working with 14 – 19
- Understanding of AAT Level 2
- Safeguarding awareness and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
