Veritas are working with a fantastic school based in Wimbledon, looking for a primary teacher to join a KS2 classroom after the Easter Holiday until the end of the academic year with the view to go permanent in September for the right candidate. The successful candidate will join the school's established Year 4 department and help continue the enhancement of classroom learning and educational development. You will adopt the school's ethos that all pupils should thrive within a safe and happy learning environment both inside and outside the classroom. As a primary teacher you will provide all students with a high-quality education which empowers them to acquire, demonstrate and articulate knowledge and skills to achieve their personal best. As a KS2 teacher you will be a respectful and positive member of the school community.
The school is a modern building that was renovated during the pandemic and has facilities to support SEN students. This year they are almost at full capacity with 2 classrooms per year group ranging from EYFS up to Year 6. The school focuses on shared values to help students work co-operatively and with respect: Positivity, diversity, honesty, harmony and friendship are important to all pupils, staff and parents.
KS2 Teacher Responsibilities- Planning and teaching the KS2 curriculum to a high standard
- Driving performance within the classroom
- Ensuring targets are met and exceeded
- Managing behaviour within the classroom
- The right to work in the UK
- DBS (Refunded DBS once worked a set period)
- Overseas police check if applicable
- Teaching experience or relevant degree
- Be willing to attend a registration interview and an interview with the client
