We are recruiting for a Maths/Science Teacher to join an alternative provision high school in Wigan. This is a part-time role supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, and additional learning needs.

You'll deliver engaging, accessible lessons designed to re-engage learners and support both academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths and/or Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan differentiated, engaging lessons for pupils with diverse needs
  • Support students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and disrupted education
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies
  • Track and assess pupil progress
  • Contribute to EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Requirements
  • QTS/QTLS - Essential
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or Science (KS3/KS4)
