We're looking for adaptable, proactive Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream primary and secondary schools in Wakefield.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments, and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
- Provide classroom, small‑group and 1:1 support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Work flexibly across different year groups depending on daily school requirements
- Support pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social‑emotional needs
- Follow teacher guidance to help deliver engaging, inclusive learning
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff in each school you visit
- Maintain a calm, supportive and professional approach at all times
