Unqualified Art Teacher Pay: £160+ a day Full-time/ Term Time onlyEpping, Essex
We are looking for a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher for a specialist SEN school supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including ASD.This is a unique opportunity to use the power of creativity to engage, inspire and transform learning for students who thrive on practical and expressive subjects.
Art Teacher Role:
* Plan and deliver creative, inclusive Art lessons tailored to individual needs and abilities* Use a variety of materials, techniques, and sensory resources to engage all learners* Create a safe, supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider team to ensure holistic support* Contribute to students' personal development, confidence, and self-esteem through art* Maintain a well-organised, visually stimulating classroom and regularly showcase student work
Art Teacher Requirements:* Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable* A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning* Ability to differentiate lessons and engage learners with varied and complex needs* Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills* A team player with a nurturing, resilient attitude
