Veritas Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to work at a welcoming primary school located near Keighley, Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in maintaining the safety and functionality of the school site.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and repairs across the school premises
- Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and safe for pupils and staff
- Managing heating, lighting, and alarm systems
- Supporting health & safety compliance and routine checks
- Opening and locking up the school daily
- Liaising with contractors and external services
? Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
- Previous experience as a caretaker in a school or similar setting
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and organisational skills
