We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support a Year 4 class and also provide PPA cover. The role will involve supporting the class teacher with classroom activities, helping to manage behaviour, and ensuring that pupils stay engaged with their learning. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering a class for one afternoon a week, covering PPA time.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary education, particularly with Year 4 children, and be confident in delivering lessons and supporting a range of student needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide classroom support for Year 4 pupils, assisting with their learning and development.
- Deliver lessons during one afternoon per week to cover PPA time.
- Support the class teacher with planning and preparation of classroom activities.
- Help manage behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- All applicants will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check, reference checks, and any necessary overseas police clearances (if applicable) in line with safeguarding policies.
