Job Advert: Teaching Assistant Level 2 – EYFS (Full-Time, Immediate Start)
Position: Teaching Assistant Year 4
Location: Lancaster
Contract Type: Full-Time (Maternity Leave), 32 hours per week, term time only
Start Date: June 2025 until July 2026
Salary: £14.20 per hour

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Year 4, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to the KS2 curriculum.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Help monitor and record children's progress and share insights with the team and parents.
- Promote positive behaviour, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to the preparation of resources and the organization of the classroom.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience working within a school setting.
- A strong understanding of curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive, and patient approach to working with children.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (subject to an enhanced DBS check).
