Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive village primary school to recruit two Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for caring, patient, and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting early learning and making a real difference in the classroom.
The Roles:
- Position 1: 1:1 support for a Reception pupil
- Position 2: 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil
Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support learning, engagement, and phonics development.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, term time only
- 9:00am - 3:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Strong phonics knowledge
- A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Ability to support pupils 1:1 with learning and emotional needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
