A warm and welcoming primary school is seeking a dedicated and empathetic KS1 Teacher to join their passionate team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is confident in delivering the KS1 curriculum and has proven experience supporting children in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. You'll be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning and supports each child's academic and emotional development.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and support pupils with additional needs, in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
- Promote positive behaviour through a consistent and empathetic approach to classroom management.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Track pupil progress through ongoing assessment, providing feedback and adapting teaching as needed.
- Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work closely with parents/carers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Uphold the school's values and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending completion as an NQT.
- Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
