We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at a welcoming and inclusive school in Hampton, Richmond. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional and behavioural needs.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide 1:1 and small group support

  • Support pupils with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing

  • Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies

  • Encourage inclusion and positive engagement in the classroom and playground

  • Monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to assessment reviews

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children with special educational needs (in school or similar settings)

  • Is calm, patient, and flexible with a positive and proactive attitude

  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Works well as part of a team and shows initiative

  • Preferably holds a relevant TA qualification or has training in SEN (e.g., Team Teach, Makaton, PECS – not essential)
