The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to provide one‑to‑one support for a child with additional needs who is being reintegrated into the classroom. You will work closely with the child to support their academic, social, and emotional development, helping them engage fully in school life. This position starts in September 2026; following an initial contract it may become a temp‑to‑perm contract.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
  • Assist with learning, behaviour, and social integration.
  • Work with the teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and support.
  • Monitor progress and report feedback.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with SEN children.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
