About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Teacher to work within a specialist provision supporting students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, autism, and associated learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting pupils who require a structured, nurturing, and consistent approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and mental health development
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
- Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress tracking
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Patient, adaptable, and emotionally resilient
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Committed to inclusive and trauma-informed practice
