Graduate Teaching Assistants.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start in September.
Responsibilities for English Graduate Teaching Assistants include
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
- Support the development of students academic skills and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.
About you
- Educated to degree level in English or any other related degree subject
- Have previous experience within a school or other related experience, e. g. tutoring experience.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
- Have knowledge and experience supporting children within special educational needs.
- School based experience preferred but not essential.
