The school is seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join their dynamic team and teach in the new SRP.

Role Overview:

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs. You will run targeted interventions, teach core subjects, and work closely with a dedicated team to create tailored learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
2. Run interventions to support students\’ academic and social development.
3. Teach core subjects while adapting materials and methods to suit individual learning needs.
4. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OT) and Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to incorporate their strategies into classroom practice.
5. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
6. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Experience working with students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting.
3. Knowledge of Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) practices.
4. Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
