Overview
I am working with an excellent school in the Chorley area that is seeking a Year 1 general Teaching Assistant (TA), starting immediately. You will be expected to assist the teacher with the delivery of lessons, as well as working with specific groups and pupils throughout the school day and help raise their attainment.
Level 2 or 3 TA Requirements
- Be able to work alongside class teacher and other support staff
- Provide constructive feedback regarding pupil progression
- Assist in making the work accessible for all learners
- Providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable work environment for all pupils
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently if necessary
- Use a variety of different resources according to the teachers plans
- Flexibility to be able to switch roles within the classroom is needed to
- Passion for working with young people and the want to provide them with the best education experience possible
- Ability to build relationships quickly but also set clear boundaries with pupils
- Follow and implement the school's behaviour policies
These positions are available for all level 2 or 3 qualified teaching assistants. We understand that some TAs will have only recently qualified and won't have an abundance of experience. Please do not be deterred by this, we can provide the experience you require.
