About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN primary school in Orpington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
You will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced primary curriculum, adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. The role is available for an ASAP start or from September, depending on availability, and is offered on a permanent basis.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a Primary setting (SEN experience advantageous but not essential)
- A nurturing, flexible, and patient approach to teaching
- Ability to differentiate learning effectively to support a range of SEN needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- willingness to work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents
