Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (or someone with a real passion for supporting children with additional needs) looking for a long-term role where you can truly make a difference? We're currently working with a welcoming and supportive school in Nelson who are preparing for their new intake of pupils starting in September 2026. The children you'll be supporting all have EHCPs, and the school is keen to put the right people in place early to ensure a smooth and positive start.

  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 or small group basis

This will be a long-term role starting in September 2026, with a strong possibility of a permanent contract further down the line for the right person. Although the role doesn't start until September 2026, the school is keen to invite suitable candidates in for trials as soon as possible. This gives you the chance to get to know the team and the setting, and for the school to ensure the right fit for their pupils.
