We are seeking a passionate and resilient Teacher to work within a specialist provision supporting students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, autism, and associated learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting pupils who require a structured, nurturing, and consistent approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and mental health development
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress tracking
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and emotionally resilient
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Committed to inclusive and trauma-informed practice
