School Mentor - Leeds
Veritas Education Leeds is recruiting school and learning mentors for the new academic year starting September 2026.
We partner with a range of schools, special needs settings, and educational sites seeking motivated, caring, and committed support staff.
We welcome candidates with varied experience; extensive direct school experience is not mandatory.
- Candidate Requirements
- A relevant degree in Education, Childcare, Psychology, Counselling, Teaching, Sports or Coaching.
- Previous child‑minding experience, in either a private or public setting.
- School‑based experience.
- Volunteer experience from schools, coaching, youth clubs or charities.
- Background in support work, care or residential settings.
- Personal experience supporting children and young adults with additional needs, including behavioural or emotional needs.
We can assist with registration, DBS checks and provide further training.
Competitive rates of pay (open to discussion), ongoing professional development and both full‑time and part‑time or daily placements are offered.
