Learning Support Assistants - Primary School (Near Leeds City Centre)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners at the start of their education journey? A friendly and welcoming primary school located close to Leeds City Centre is looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their supportive team. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working across Reception and Key Stage 1 (KS1).

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and socially. Your work will include a mix of classroom-based support, SEN support, and 1:1 interventions, helping children to thrive in an engaging and inclusive environment. Flexibility is key, as you will support in a variety of settings and adapt to the needs of pupils and staff across the school.

  • Experience supporting children (school-based or similar), or a strong interest in education
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working across Reception and KS1
  • Confidence in supporting SEN pupils and delivering 1:1 support where required
  • Good behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A positive attitude, resilience and a great sense of humour
