Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of welcoming nursery settings throughout York. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assisting with observations and learning journeys
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Supporting daily nursery routines and activities
- Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times
- Qualified and unqualified candidates considered
- Previous nursery, childcare, or early years experience preferred
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous
