Veritas Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Keighley area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to join a supportive department and make a positive impact on students' learning and development.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to secondary-aged pupils
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and support pupil progress effectively
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
