Are you a Level 6 Qualified Early Years Teacher with leadership experience and a passion for outdoor learning?
We are recruiting for a unique nature-based educational setting on the edge of Dartmoor.
This role offers the opportunity to combine teaching, leadership and management while supporting children through creative, outdoor learning experiences.
The Role
- Lead the daily running of the setting.
- Support and manage a small team.
- Deliver engaging outdoor learning.
- Oversee curriculum planning and EYFS standards.
- Maintain safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Build relationships with families and professionals.
- Support staff development and manage key administration.
Requirements
- Level 6 Early Years qualification.
- QTS desirable.
- Leadership experience in Early Years or Primary education.
- Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable Experience
- Forest School/outdoor education.
- Alternative education.
- SEND experience.
- Creative or holistic learning approaches.
