We're looking for dedicated SEN Learning Mentors to support pupils with additional needs in specialist and mainstream school settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people succeed while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, therapy, or youth support.
SEN Learning Mentor Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, engagement, and personal development
- Promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage progress and achievement
SEN Learning Mentor Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs
