We're looking for dedicated Learning Support Mentors to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people thrive while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, youth work, or mental health support.

Learning Support Mentor Role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and learning
  • Providing tailored support to help pupils overcome barriers to education
  • Assisting with behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies
  • Supporting teachers in creating a positive, structured learning environment
  • Building strong relationships that encourage confidence, resilience, and academic progress

Learning Support Mentor Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in supporting children and young people
  • Patient, calm, and proactive approach
  • Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with children or young people in any setting is beneficial
  • Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, Counsellors, or Psychologists
