We're looking for dedicated Behavioural Support Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Behavioural Support Assistant Role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping implement behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies
  • Assisting teachers in maintaining a calm, structured learning environment
  • Building positive relationships to encourage confidence, resilience, and progress

Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in supporting young people
  • Patient, calm, and proactive approach
  • Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
