Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Wakefield to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher. The Role
- Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress
- Contributing positively to the English department and wider school community
- Upholding high standards of behaviour and learning in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
