We are excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a supportive and welcoming early years setting in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to nurturing young children and helping them thrive during their most important developmental years. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning, development, and overall well-being in line with the EYFS framework
- Work collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times
Requirements
- A minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (DfE recognised)
- At least one year of experience working within a childcare or early years setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for working with children in Early Years
- Sound knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
