About the Role

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career within a well-structured school environment that is committed to professional development and high-quality teaching standards, aligned with Department for Education expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in your subject specialism
  • Support student progress, attainment, and positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has completed or is completing a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
