As Veritas Education continues to grow across the North East, we are actively recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants to support a range of special schools across County Durham.
We are offering a variety of opportunities, including daily supply cover, short-term placements, and long-term temporary roles, with immediate starts available.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable but not essential)
- Has previous experience in SEN settings, childcare, or youth work (highly desirable)
- Is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Is reliable, adaptable, and confident working in specialist education environments
What We Offer:
- Pay rates: £95-£105 per day
- A variety of flexible working opportunities
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
- Opportunities to gain further experience within specialist education settings
- A DBS registered on the Update Service is required; however, we can assist with this for successful applicants.
