We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team in Kirklees and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the education sector, particularly those considering a career in teaching. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task and that the work set by the absent teacher is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources provided by the teaching staff.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Assist students with any questions or concerns regarding the work set.
