Veritas Education is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a supportive school in Woodford. This role is ideal for a dedicated SEN TA who has previous experience working in a Special Educational Needs-focused role and is passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH)
- Working one-to-one or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning strategies
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with both academic and emotional development
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an SEN-focused role (essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
