Are you passionate about supporting young people who need it most? We are looking for a resilient, empathetic, and adaptable Student Support Worker to join a specialist provision working across multiple partnership sites. This is not a typical classroom role. You will support students who may be experiencing trauma, medical needs, or social anxiety, helping them re-engage with education and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Support students across a range of different learning environments and community settings
  • Help young people manage anxiety, emotional needs, and barriers to learning
  • Build trust with students who may struggle in traditional educational settings
  • Work collaboratively with staff and external partners
  • Monitor and record student progress and wellbeing

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites during the working week
  • Experience supporting young people, particularly those with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs
  • Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach
  • Confidence supporting students with trauma, health needs, and social anxieties
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Degree level qualification and experience working in education is preferred
