We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our client as a Business Studies Teacher in Watford, starting in September. As a Business Studies Teacher, you'll play a key role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the world of commerce and enterprise. Business Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and relevant business studies lessons that cover a range of topics, including marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
  • Utilize real-world examples, case studies, and interactive activities to bring business concepts to life and demonstrate their practical application in the modern economy.
  • Implement the national curriculum effectively, incorporating both theoretical concepts and practical skills development to prepare students for further education and careers in business.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods, including exams, projects, presentations, and simulations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore ideas, take risks, and develop their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience within UK schools is required for candidates holding an overseas teaching degree.
