Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Burnley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This role is initially expected to run until Christmas, with a strong possibility of being extended further for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare and assess pupils' work in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Passionate about inspiring young learners and raising attainment
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
