Veritas Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and knowledgeable Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner to join a supportive school environment where high standards of teaching and learning are a priority.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
- Undertake full planning and marking responsibilities
- Support pupils of varying abilities and promote strong classroom behaviour
- Contribute positively to the wider department and school ethos
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
