Veritas Education is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Bradford area to recruit Cover Supervisors for day-to-day and long-term roles. This is an excellent opportunity for students, graduates, or individuals considering a career in education, as well as those with previous school-based experience looking for flexible work.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure a calm, safe, and productive learning environment
  • Support pupils with their learning and maintain engagement throughout the lesson
  • Work across a range of subjects and year groups in secondary schools

We Are Looking For:

  • Confident, reliable, and adaptable individuals
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Graduates or students considering teaching or education-based careers are encouraged to apply
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
