Veritas Education is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Bolton. This role involves supporting learning across a Key Stage 2 classroom, working alongside the class teacher to help pupils engage, progress, and feel confident in their learning.
- Supporting pupils during whole-class teaching, group activities, and independent work
- Assisting with targeted support for pupils who may need additional guidance
- Helping to prepare resources and contribute to a positive, well-organised learning environment
- Encouraging pupils' confidence, participation, and positive attitudes towards learning
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team
Requirements:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2
Safeguarding & Application Requirements:
- All applicants will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check, reference checks, and if relevant, overseas police clearances in line with safeguarding policies.
- Applicants need to have the legal right to work in the UK and be available for a registration interview.
