Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's educational journey? We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool from September. This role will involve providing dedicated support to a pupil in Key Stage 1, helping them to access learning, develop socially, and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role
- Provide individual support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience supporting children with SEN, either in a school, nursery, care, or support setting.
