Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to work on a long-term basis in secondary schools across East Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students in languages such as French, Spanish or German, helping them develop confidence and cultural awareness.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience. The role offers consistency, supportive school environments, and the opportunity to make a real impact on students' progress.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach one or more languages (French, Spanish, German)
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in MFL (French, Spanish, German or combination)
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for languages and student development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
