Full-time permanent role. Salary MPS-UPS (dependent on experience). Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire. Start date: September 2026.

Veritas Education is recruiting a dedicated and nurturing Intervention Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Pendle. The candidate will work across Key Stage 2, delivering targeted interventions with small groups of students to support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
  • Deliver targeted intervention sessions across primary age ranges.
  • Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility and strong behaviour management skills.
