Veritas Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to support a secondary school in Blackburn on a supply basis. This is a full-time role expected to last around 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further depending on school needs.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Follow existing schemes of work and maintain continuity for students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Mark and assess work where required
  • Support students in achieving their full potential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to a new environment
  • Available for a minimum 3-month commitment
