Veritas Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work in a supportive school in Batley. This role is ideal for someone caring, patient, and passionate about helping young people succeed.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping students with SEND access learning
- Assisting the class teacher in lessons
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Supporting pupils' academic and social development
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
- Is caring, reliable, and proactive
- Communicates well with staff and students
- Is committed to safeguarding
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
- Qualifications are desirable but not essential
