Art Teacher with QTS — Epping Forest — ASAP
£160 – £200 per day
Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Art Teacher with QTS to work in an SEN school based in Epping Forest. The role is full time, term time only, and to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive art lessons across key stages
- Apply appropriate strategies and techniques to support individual learning and development across a range of needs
- Collaborate with support staff and therapists to meet individual learning needs
- Foster a classroom culture of encouragement, exploration, and celebration
- Support wider school initiatives that promote creativity, engagement, and a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- A creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for making art accessible to all
