Excellent school in Leyland is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join their team Monday to Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm working in After School club.
£14-£15 per hour (depending on experience).
Mainstream Primary After school club Immediate start.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an after school setting or similar, for example: Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
You will also need to create high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment and provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the Club, including those with special needs.
- Be able to plan and deliver fun and engaging activities throughout the week.
- Assist in helping pupils with their evening meal/snacks.
- Work alongside other after school staff.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
- Safely chaperone pupils when being collected by parents/carers.
- Follow all safeguarding and health & safety guidance.
